The British Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan

A reception to launch the first ever respectable travel-guide about Kazakhstan by His Excellency Mr. Paul Brummell British Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This latest publication by Paul Brummell is much awaited since his hugely popular book on Turkmenistan. Among one of the foremost British experts on the Central Asia region he graduated from St. Catherine’s College, University of Cambridge with a degree in Geography and entered the Foreign Office in 1987. Having served in Rome, Islamabad and New York he was appointed as the British Ambassador to Turkmenistan, and is currently ambassador to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
